We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join the Orms Marketing team.
The ideal candidate must have a passion for all things social, thrive on engagements and interactions with a growing social community and love bringing new and exciting content ideas to life.

Brand Voice Ambassador: You’ll be the maestro of our brand’s online persona. From crafting engaging content to managing our social media accounts, you'll ensure every post, tweet, and update is in harmony with our brand’s voice and vision.
Strategic Mindset: Collaborate with our marketing team to enhance and execute a cohesive brand strategy. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our social content not only sparkles with creativity but also aligns seamlessly with our overall marketing objectives.
Budget & Analytics Wizardry: Bring your A-game in managing budgets for paid media campaigns and wow us with your analytical prowess. This would include regular, detailed reports on the performance of our content channels and the ROI of our social media investments.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the growth strategy for the Orms social platforms
- Working closely with our Junior Social Coordinator and the greater marketing team to conceptualize and produce YouTube, social content and Instagram Reels
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team on campaigns from conception to implementation
- Tracking and analyzing the overall social, content and paid performance and compiling monthly reports with key insights & strategic recommendations
- Be in the loop with the latest social trends, innovations and developments and bring new ideas to the table for our platforms
- Help to deliver a consistent brand experience across all platforms and pro-actively increase growth, engagement, social traffic and traffic to the website
- Make recommendations on the most impactful and cost-effective assets for digital platforms
- Maintain relationships with collaborators and highlight new opportunities for collaboration within our social communities
- Management of all social budgets and the implementation of all paid and organic social campaigns
Our ideal candidate has:
- A good working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager is a must, as well as experience with X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube in a business capacity
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a social-focused role
- Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences
- Proven paid social experience – specifically optimizing ROI, lead generation, and audience retargeting
- A passion for photography, content creation and curation
- Strong creative writing skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A hard working, determined and can-do attitude
- Advantageous: Experience within a Retail environment on a social level

USED GEAR AND RENTALS ASSISTANT
Job Title: Used Gear and Rentals Assistant
Department: Used Gear
Based At: ORMS Central Cape Town
Reporting To: Used Gear & Rentals Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Receiving and dispatching Rental Items
- Packing and cleaning of all rental gear
- Creating rental bookings and quotes
- Booking equipment in for repairs/service
- Advising clients on gear suitability and availability.
- Firmware updates
- Ensuring payments are done and correctly allocated
- Helping out with all Used gear related duties. i.e. (packing display shelf,
organising purchased items, Removing items from website) - Keeping up to date with the latest gear and specification.
- Attending training sessions by suppliers.

ASSISTANT JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Job Title: Assistant Junior Accountant

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
A detail-oriented accounting clerk, with a strong analytical mind is required to join the accounts team to perform accounting functions within the Orms group.
- Assist Accounts Manager with day-to-day financial tasks, which would include suppliers / customers / cashbooks / reconciling of general ledgers, posting of necessary entries, assisting in ensuring control accounts balance
- Assist with accurate and timely closure of various month-end tasks • Support in preparation of various reports
- Any duties as requested on a ad hoc basis relating to finance
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
- Relevant qualification in accounting or finance is required
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.

- Relevant Design Diploma
- Strong portfolio with demonstrated design skills across digital ads, creative concepts, layout design and digital campaigns
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in the design field, preferably in online media
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email-platforms
- Exposure to project management tools like Monday (or similar)

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Management of all Print Room staff & Production Processes within PR.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
5+ years proven experience in the leadership and motivation of staff, including IR practices. Must be a customer satisfaction and relationship expert. A passion for marketing and sales strategy. Competent in management of business processes.
INHERENT/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS TO DO THE JOB:
Ability to resolve conflicts & solve problems skillfully. Management of ‘creatives’.
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
To help drive and develop the strategy of Orms ‘Creative Printing and Décor solutions’. To manage the sales and production teams within Orms Print Room to ensure that customers receive excellent customer service as well as the best quality products within the time frame required.
In this role you are required to maintain a motivated, inspired & positive team within the Print Room, while liaising with the other production departments to ensure that orders get processed and produced within the time frame required.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- To establish a positive and professional atmosphere within the Print Room store where customers feel inspired to visit and be creative.
- Ensuring that the store remains an organised, clean and tidy environment at all times.
- To ensure that the sales team give the best personalised, professional customer service and advice at all times.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Procurement of stock for all sales consultants. Check incoming stock, Inter branch transfers. Process invoices daily. Conduct daily stock checks.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Computer literate.
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (or higher).
