From Sigma's sole manufacturing base in Aizu to their supply chain in the Tohoku region, all Sigma products are completely made in Japan. The close communication between each part of the production system enables an exceptional level of manufacturing technology and quality control, allowing Sigma to provide products that surpass expectations.
The Sigma Aizu factory opened on November 2, 1973. Today, it remains the sole location where every lens, camera, and accessory is produced. The factory and the people who work there are the cornerstone of Sigma's reputation, a testament to their growth, and the source of pride behind the “Made in Aizu, Japan” label.
