Fujifilm has joined the announcement streak of the month and jumped on board with their announcement of their new mirrorless X-T3.

Welcome the new generation of the Fujifilm X-Series, the Fujifilm X-T3 the worlds first APS-C mirrorless camera built with professional videographers in mind. Fujifilm are renowned for their unique colour reproduction technology and cameras which deliver incredible image and video quality.

The X-T3 features a new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processing engine, meaning his new addition truly packs a punch. The new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor has four times the amount of phase detection pixels than any of Fujifilm's current models and boasts a super low sensitivity of ISO 160 this despite its 26MP resolution. The new X-Processor 4 image processing engine contains 4 CPU units allowing the new X-T3 to boast an image processing speed three times that of any of Fujifilm's current models.

Now you may be wondering why the X-T3 is being referred to as the camera for professional videographers, let's dive into this new X-Series video processing capabilities.... Not only does this new model have an image processing speed three times faster than any other Fujifilm model available but it also delivers 4K/60P 10bit output all in a mirrorless camera body. This means less weight and more freedom to truly capture the moments around you. For those already fans of the Fujifilm X-H1 you'll be happy to know that the specialised Film Simulation mode " ETERNA" is back in this new, updated model.

For those not shooting video, rest assured this fourth generation X-Series doesn't disappoint in image shooting capabilities. The addition of the brand new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor provides this new model with 2.16M phase detection pixels, this addition increases your phase detection AF area to entire frame capabilities. This increase in processing speed and improved phase detection gives this new model the ability to refocus and meter 1.5 times faster making it the perfect camera for high speed, erratic movements across your frame.
